Longmorn 2005/2020

Distilled in 2005 at Longmorn, this new vintage is part of Gordon & MacPhail’s traditional distillery label series. Situated just south of Elgin, Longmorn has a wonderfully delicate character, with bright notes of seville orange and dried fruit, joining cinnamon and nutmeg, and a background of chocolate. Warming and peppery to taste, with more fruit notes (fruitcake), toasted almonds and orange again (peel). A long and lingering finish of charred oak and milk chocolate again. Released in 2020.
